OUR VERY FIRST “ANNUAL GVCP WALKATHON” REPORT

GVCP Spring Walkathon Participants at the Parish of St Paul Finish Line

Net proceeds from our first ever GVCP ”Walkathon” event have now reached $19,200 – with a couple of pledges still on their way to us! This means that not only can our young students rest assured they will be returning to their studies after spring break, but also that – as we await harvest of our spring crops – short term food insecurity fears can be set aside for now.

On Saturday, May 17th, at 12:00 noon, (Rain Date Sunday, 5/18, same time) the Global Village Children’s Project is inviting you to take a hike with us from the Parish of St Paul – in Newton Highlands, at 1135 Walnut Street – to nearby Cold Springs Park.
